Corporate Training & Workplace Learning Programs (ALMP)

As we value and promote learning in the workplace, we collaborate with Emploi-Québec and the metallurgy sector committees in order to offer the possibility to potential employees without diplomas to learn the different trades available with us while being remunerated. Apprenticeship plan (PAMT) vary from 2 to 3 years depending on the desired trade and are designed to allow people interested in learning the trades in the workplace rather than on the school benches.

PAMT
Welder-assembler

The welder-assembler works from plans and sketches and must be able to choose the best welding methods. He must master the various positions as well as be able to be certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) after a while. Being driven by precision is essential to working for our company and meeting the needs of our customers.

Conventional machinist

The conventional machinist usually has a DEP in machining as well as several years of experience as a machinist. He is responsible for the design, manufacture and repair of metal parts using conventional machine tools.

CNC machine operator

The CNC numerical control machinist is responsible for designing the machining ranges, programming the machine tools and ensuring the accuracy of the manufacturing of the parts thereafter. He also holds a DEP in machining and a few years of experience. These tasks require computer knowledge unlike conventional machinists.

Industrial mechanic

The industrial mechanic has obtained professional training that has enabled him to install, troubleshoot, repair or modify industrial equipment. This work is done directly at customers who are manufacturing or processing plants. The mechanic has developed skills in other trades as well, namely welding, machining, construction, deconstruction and repair of industrial equipment.

Industrial designer

The person responsible for the design and creation of the industrial drawings must have previously undergone Solidworks training allowing him to develop the complete recipes necessary for the manufacture of the part. He must have a good analytical mind allowing him to accurately assess the time and materials needed to manufacture the parts to be manufactured.

Administration

The administration team currently includes a receptionist, a senior buyer, an operations manager, a sales representative, an accounting and human resources manager, the succession to the Presidency and the President. If any of these positions interest you, please apply.
